Zahrin Shariff Nordin

Alternative Healer  & Certified Silat Coach

Zahrin Shariff Nordin is a respected alternative healer, energy practitioner, and certified Silat coach whose work reflects the integration of physical discipline, spiritual awareness, and holistic healing.

With more than seven years of experience in the field of energy and spiritual therapy, Zahrin has developed a distinctive approach that unites traditional healing wisdom with contemporary understanding. His practice is guided by the belief that every human being carries both visible and invisible dimensions — where energy, intention, and divine connection coexist as the essence of balance and well-being.

Zahrin’s philosophy rests on a simple yet profound truth: every being carries light, every soul radiates energy, and every wound awaits healing through sincere intention. His sessions embody this principle through the combination of prayer, remembrance, and focused energy work. Each encounter is conducted with calmness, discretion, and compassion, allowing individuals to experience healing not only in body, but also in heart and spirit.

Beyond his healing work, Zahrin is an accredited Silat coach, holding an SPKK Level 1 Coaching Certificate from PESAKA Malaysia, the national Silat federation. His teaching extends beyond martial technique — he views Silat as a spiritual discipline that cultivates inner strength, humility, and self-awareness. Through movement and mindfulness, he guides his students to discover harmony between power and peace, discipline and compassion.

Zahrin’s holistic approach bridges energy work and martial discipline as two complementary paths toward self-mastery. Through his guidance, many have learned to interpret pain as a lesson, adversity as transformation, and stillness as strength. His dedication to both healing and Silat reflects a lifelong commitment to nurturing balance — between the physical and the spiritual, the visible and the unseen.

For Zahrin, the essence of his journey is captured in his personal reflection:

“Light does not seek shadows — it exists to remove them.
Such is the nature of energy born from a sincere heart.”

The Unseen Nexus:

A Comparative Ontological and Textual Analysis of Jinn, Shaytan, Ghosts, and Makhluk Ghaib Across World Cosmologies

Abstract

This conceptual paper presents a comparative ontological and textual analysis of unseen entities across diverse global cosmologies, with a primary focus on Islam. The analysis establishes that the realm of the unseen (Al-Ghayb) is broadly segmented into two distinct taxonomic categories: the Created/Parallel Species and Residual Human Souls. Entities such as the Jinn (created from smokeless fire, possessing free will) and their analogues (like the Álfar or Orang Bunian) represent sentient, parallel civilizations that primarily function as agents of moral testing. Conversely, Ghosts (such as the Yūrei or Pontianak) are derivative entities—human souls trapped by unresolved trauma, violent death, or unfulfilled karmic debt.

The comparison reveals that the role of the Adversary often reflects the core theological mandate of the culture. In Abrahamic traditions, Shaytan/Iblis is an external, absolute, and unredeemable foe (a rebellious Jinn) necessary to test human obedience and free will. In Dharmic traditions, the antagonist like Mara is more often an internal, redeemable manifestation of attachment and greed, emphasizing that conflict and suffering are transient, self-generated karmic conditions.

Ultimately, the paper argues that the core function of the meta-category Makhluk Ghaib across cultures is to manage and provide explanatory frameworks for the limits of human knowledge, moral failure, and uncontrollable tragedy. It also examines how the process of syncretism in Southeast Asia actively reclassifies local spirits (like Hantu) as sub-species of Jinn or Shaytan, a theological strategy to ensure adherence to monotheism.

Keywords: Jinn, Shaytan, Al-Ghayb, Makhluk Ghaib, Ontology, Mara, Hantu, Comparative Religion.

The Alchemical Canvas

Redefining Strategic Planning Through Esoteric Metaphors in Dynamic Entrepreneurship

Abstract

In an era of accelerating market volatility and complexity, conventional strategic tools such as the Business Model Canvas (BMC), Design Thinking (DT), and the Lean Startup (LS) framework have reached epistemological and practical limits. While these rational approaches provide descriptive clarity and iterative rigor, they often collapse under the weight of uncertainty, leading to what this paper identifies as the Static Trap and Ritual Trap—a failure of dynamic intentionality and psychological coherence in entrepreneurial decision-making.

To address these limitations, this study introduces The Alchemical Canvas, a novel conceptual framework that redefines strategic planning through esoteric metaphors. Drawing from Gareth Morgan’s theory of organizational metaphors and Jungian archetypal psychology, the framework integrates three symbolic instruments: The Grimoire (organization by intent), The Sigil (concentration of strategic intent), and The Magnum Opus (transformative endurance). Together, they provide a lexicon for cultivating systemic coherence, radical clarity, and psychological resilience within organizations navigating chaos and transformation.

The Alchemical Canvas proposes a paradigmatic shift from rational description to symbolic prescription, emphasizing manifestation over iteration and transformation over optimization. By operationalizing dynamic capabilities through metaphorical logic, this paper contributes to the emerging intersection of neuroentrepreneurship, symbolic management, and strategic cognition. The study concludes that integrating symbolic and esoteric thinking into strategic management offers a more sustainable model for organizational evolution in conditions of extreme uncertainty.

Our Story

 Genesis

Warisan Academy Centre is more than just an institution. It is the manifestation of a deep-seated interest and a serious quest for knowledge, with roots firmly established since 2013.

In the beginning, this entire endeavour was born from a personal passion and wide-ranging hobbies, spanning various profound fields: Mystical Studies, Comparative Religion, Malay Indigenous Knowledge (Keilmuan Melayu), Heritage, World History, Traditional Martial Arts, Malay Wellness Practices (Senaman Melayu), Traditional Malay Healing, and Metaphysics.

Evolution & Mission Shift

This expansive search initially operated under the name Warisan Gerak Alif Resources, and has since grown and evolved into the Warisan Academy Centre.

What started as a hobby has now transformed into Serious Research dedicated to human development and self-identity. We believe that every individual carries fundamental questions: Who are we? Why were we created? And what is our final destination and purpose?

The Core Vision

Warisan Academy Centre is built upon the goal of helping individuals discover their true Self-Identity, encompassing a deep understanding of our Heritage, Culture, and Ancestral Roots.

The core essence of our quest is to find the Path to Know the Creator and the Way Back. As an academy, we are serious and fully committed to this noble path of knowledge.

Collaborative Spirit

While Warisan Academy Centre operates as an independent initiative, it maintains an active collaboration with Pertubuhan Perguruan Harimau Putih in promoting heritage-based education and cultural understanding within the Nusantara and beyond.

Unearthing the Treasures of Traditional Wisdom

Warisan Academy Centre, with roots firmly established since 2013 (formerly known as Warisan Gerak Alif Resources), is more than just an academy. It is a dynamic interdisciplinary hub dedicated to research, preservation, and revitalization of the world’s ancient heritage, indigenous wisdom, and cultural philosophies.

What began as a journey to safeguard Malay and Nusantara traditions has now evolved into a global mission — to awaken love and respect for every culture’s timeless legacy, encouraging humanity to rediscover its shared spiritual origins and ancestral wisdom.

Research & Cultural Preservation

Our core mission lies in the exploration and documentation of endangered cultures and traditions. We record oral histories, study ancestral practices, and preserve the essence of human heritage — protecting not only the Nusantara identity, but also the world’s diverse cultural tapestries.

A Gateway to the Unseen World

We engage in serious and structured inquiry into Metaphysics, Mysticism, and the Supernatural, exploring the universal truths found across civilizations. Through comparative study, we seek to reveal the common spiritual threads that connect humanity beyond religion, geography, or era.

The Sanctuary of Martial Arts & Wellness

We preserve Traditional Martial Arts as more than systems of defense — they are philosophies of movement, balance, and life. Alongside this, we offer authentic Traditional Healing practices, rooted in ancestral methods and holistic medicine, nurturing harmony between body, mind, and soul.

Dissemination & Outreach

Through writing, teaching, and publishing, we act as a bridge between ancient knowledge and modern thought. Our outreach and preservation initiatives include the distribution of rare manuscripts, traditional tools, and scholarly works — promoting cultural continuity while engaging a global audience.

Warisan Academy Centre stands as a beacon for seekers of authentic truth, illuminating the meeting point of history, spirituality, and human identity.
We invite all people — from every culture and nation — to join us on this journey of rediscovery, to preserve, celebrate, and continue the world’s priceless heritage.
