Mohd Izuan Bin Md Isa (Izuan Isa), warmly known as Cikgu Wan, is a lifelong learner, cultural practitioner, traditional healer, and independent researcher whose work bridges modern industry, martial arts, traditional wisdom, and metaphysical studies. Over more than two decades, he has cultivated a multidisciplinary career that integrates leadership, education, wellness, and the preservation of cultural heritage. He is the Founder of Warisan Academy Centre (WAC), an institution dedicated to reviving indigenous Malay knowledge, traditional healing practices, and metaphysical exploration.

Professionally, Cikgu Wan has been serving as the Custom Brokerage at Gebrüder Weiss (Malaysia) since 2017, overseeing sea freight logistics operations, business development, and client relations at one of the world’s oldest and most reputable freight and transport companies. These roles provided him with a strong foundation in strategic management, client engagement, and operational leadership.

Cikgu Wan’s formal education includes a Master Executive in Business Administration (KTAC), complemented by multiple professional diplomas in Health Studies, Business Administration, Maritime Logistics, and Logistics & Transportation. His dedication to holistic education extends to the study of traditional and alternative medicine, holding an Advanced Diploma in Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (Udemy – Omar Abed). During his student years at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah, Cikgu Wan was actively engaged in the arts and cultural scene. He served as Head of the Theatre Bureau (2002), Secretary of UiTM Kedah Athletic Club (UKAC) and President of the Cultural and Arts Council (2003), reflecting an early commitment to sport, creative expression, cultural preservation, and the promotion of Malay artistic heritage. Beyond this, he also demonstrated his organisational and administrative skills through roles as Secretary for Pertubuhan Perguruan Harimau Putih (PPHP) 2018-2025, Secretary for Pertubuhan Seni Silat Jejak Panglima Malaysia (PSSJPM) 2013-2017, and currently as Assistant Secretary for Dunia Seni Silat Melayu (DSSM) Selangor. These leadership positions illustrate his long-standing dedication to fostering community engagement and continuity within Malaysia’s martial arts and cultural ecosystem.

Cikgu Wan’s martial arts background is extensive. He trained in Kuntau under the late Arshad (Md Isa), Tomoi & Silat Seni Gayong under the late Cikgu Syukor Mat Yasin, Silat Harimau Putih under Cikgu Taridi Abdullah, and Muay Thai Singa Malaya under Kru Ali. He has held coaching and jurulatih roles in Silat Seni Gayong (2001–2004) and Gurulatih in Silat Harimau Putih (2012–present), demonstrating both technical mastery and pedagogical expertise. His contributions include serving as Deputy Head of the Western Division (PSSJPM, 2013–2017) and Deputy Chief of the Dewan Hulubalang (DSSM Selangor, 2020–2023), highlighting his ongoing leadership within the martial arts community.

His training in traditional healing and Malay philosophy is equally distinguished. Rooted in family heritage through his grandparents, mother and father, Cikgu Wan received mentorship from a lineage of respected healers and masters, including the late Cikgu Syukor Mat Yasin, Cikgu Rahim Helang Putih, Arwah Abah Man Bangi, Toklang Haji Idris Bruas, and the Harimau Putih masters Cikgu Taridi, Guru Kamal, Guru Faisal, and Guru Ahmad Solihin. These experiences shaped his holistic understanding of energy, spiritual practice, and metaphysical knowledge, which he integrates into his work as a healer and educator.

Cikgu Wan’s athletic achievements further underscore his lifelong commitment to physical discipline and performance. As a student, he excelled in track and field (100m, 200m, 4x100m) and football, representing SMKSAT and later UiTM Kedah (UKAC). He competed in SUKDA 2000, Silat Olahraga, Tomoi and Muay Thai tournaments, and events such as Pusaka Ultimate Fight (2017), demonstrating versatility and competitive spirit across multiple sports disciplines.

Entrepreneurially, Cikgu Wan established Warisan Gerak Alif Resources (2013–2023), a platform for therapy and traditional healing, which later evolved into Warisan Academy Centre (WAC, 2013–Present). Through WAC, he leads initiatives in cultural preservation, traditional therapy, martial arts education, and metaphysical research, fostering a global appreciation for indigenous wisdom and Malay heritage.

As an author and independent researcher, Cikgu Wan’s notable works include “The Unseen Nexus: A Comparative Study of Spiritual Entities in Global Cosmologies” and “Metaphysics Comprehensive”. His scholarship reflects a dedication to bridging ancient knowledge and modern understanding, exploring the intersections of culture, spirituality, and human consciousness.
